Irma Szikszai-Nagy:
Die Figuren der Frage: Probleme ihrer Typologie

Abstract:
The Problems of Classifying Question-Forms

All questions without the intention of seeking information can be looked upon as question-forms. To these questions the speaker does not expect an answer whether they occur in a monologue or a dialogue. Although question-form types have different functions in utterances and exhibit different features, analyses without a rhetorical-stylistic interest, such as the history of literature, weaken the differences among question-form types through mentioning only poetic/oratorical/rhetorical questions. The paper aims to describe the separative features of question-form types in order to help orientation among them.
